No more turning back, No more ધર્મ નો ધક્કો , after 2 shifts of registration of property
The circular was issued by the superintendent of stamps and inspector general of registration Shri Jenu Devan (IAS,Inspector General of Registration,Government of Gujarat).
Ahmedabad: All sub-registrar offices in Gujarat will now work in two shifts for registration of property documents and payment of stamp duty. Those who miss their turn will have to come in the same shift the next day.
A circular in this regard was issued by the superintendent of stamps and inspector general of registration on 8th September.
The need for this circular was felt after many turned up at sub-registrar office after lunch despite outstanding tokens, which caused technical glitches and server breakdowns due to the rush in particular slots.
The new system of registration will start on September 12.
